DALLAS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY
Hey, we’re Heather and Josh, a husband and wife photo and video team. We are two people in love, just like you. We first locked eyes over the stacked pizza boxes at a mom-and-pop pizzeria– I was the cashier, he was the delivery driver. We bonded over live music, cinema, and our love of film photography and lived happily ever after. Our wedding took place beside a waterfall in Oregon with our closest family and friends. Now, we have two dogs, a hairless cat, and a real live human baby. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
In 2016, we left our day jobs behind to document weddings to our heart’s desire. Since then, we’ve captured more moments than we could possibly count. We wake up day after day and do this job because we love the couples we work with and capturing honest moments– not the fake, scripted things.

Our Style
We see ourselves as artists more than anything and as friends with our couples above all. Our approach is less staged and more about creating imagery that is living and honest. Not forcing a single thing. We truly want you to feel the ambiance– the clinking of glasses, the sniffles and happy tears, the unspoken nervousness before “I do.”
The photos and videos we have of ourselves and the people we love are invaluable. Life is fleeting, and having imagery that helps us remember is that one-way ticket back in time.
Even if you’ve never been in front of a camera in your life, we’ll guide you through the whole experience. Just trust us, and we will capture the beautifully imperfect moments for you.
About Heather
As an INFP, I’m intuitive and empathetic, strong-willed, and curious. To really know me, you have to be down with the fact that I can carry on a full conversation with quotes from “The Office,” sort you into your proper Hogwarts house, and recommend a book you should add to your stack. While Josh is about the technical stuff, I go all in on the feelings and emotions of photography. Maybe I’m a little ‘weird,’ but that’s why all of this resonates with me so much. I see what I do as helping people like you be truer and more of who they are in front of the camera.
About Josh
I’m the bearded half of The Jarrells and the resident gear nerd (guitars, cameras, video games, you name it). Heather and I are quite the opposite, but both the universe and our marriage license suggest that opposites do indeed attract. I've been an active musician most of my adult life, and after doing sound for several low-budget short films, I began to gravitate to camera work. Thankfully, my mentors lent me a great deal of their cinematic vision, and I feel it is reflected in each of our wedding films. (FYI - any encounter we have in the future will be rife with sarcasm, nerdy references, and memes).
